Documenting Children's Learning Outdoors and Den Building
Join us for a unique one-day workshop at the Schlitz Audubon Nature Preschool designed to help Early Childhood Educators engage children in learning in outdoor areas. Claire Warden, an educational consultant from Scotland and the author of The Potential of a Puddle, Nurture though Nature, and Nature Kindergartens, will be presenting the workshop. We will begin with a tour of the SANC Preschool and then hike outdoors, followed by refreshments and a book signing. Please dress for the weather.

Claire Warden is an educational consultant who has developed a unique approach to experimental learning. She founded Mindstretchers in 1996, a company that includes a project approach called, "The Living Classroom," which explores senatorial and experimental learning in outdoor spaces.
